The location of Calidan in Mirissa is great and fantastic, with restaurants, bars, shops, and the beach nearby. the breakfast offered at the hotel is free and includes a variety of different options. the staff at the hotel are amiable and pretty friendly.

Had deluxe queen room with towels, toast included and air con. The staff - affable and helpful. Great and perfect location for our visit to a multi-purpose indoor arena around 10-15 minutes walk from the hotel.

the hotel was quiet, with wonderful location to the whale watching event. location: the property was not far from the beach and mirissa bus stop as well as calidan does n't have.

I had an amazing stay at this guest house in Mirissa. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the beautiful beach. The owners were friendly and went out of their way to ensure our comfort. The room was spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed and effective air conditioning. The breakfast was delicious, with a variety of fresh fruit and tasty toast. Despite a few minor issues, such as the floor tiles in the first room being unsafe and the shower not working properly in the second room, the staff promptly addressed and resolved them. The only other drawbacks were the lack of WiFi in the bedroom and the absence of tea and coffee making facilities, but these were minor inconveniences. I highly recommend Calidan for a pleasant and comfortable stay in Mirissa.

I had a wonderful stay at a relaxed, family-run, and good value place in Mirissa. The owner was kind and even picked me up from the bus stop. The rooms were comfortable and much better than other guest houses I've stayed at in Sri Lanka. I enjoyed a tasty breakfast every morning and the beautiful grounds made for a peaceful atmosphere. The family who runs the place is lovely, especially the adorable children. The location is perfect, just a two-minute walk from the beach in a quiet area. Highly recommended for a pleasant and affordable stay. I would definitely recommend this place to others.
